Deep Tissue Massage
A type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep Tissue Massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressme w ill generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or "knots."

Sports Massage Therapy
Geared toward athletes of every kind. Sports massage techniques focus on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movem ents. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Sports massage has three basic fonns: pre-event massage, post-event massa ge, and maintenance massage .
